Why templates are fast

A template is fast for one reason: the work already happened. Somebody built the booking flow, the payment handling, the customer emails, a thousand small decisions, before you ever showed up. You are buying ready-made, and for plenty of businesses that is genuinely enough.

The catch is that the somebody did not know your business. The template does not care that your customers book twice a year, that your pricing changes with the season, or that half your work comes through referrals. So you compromise, work around it, and keep a spreadsheet on the side for everything the template does not understand.
